Job Description:

About Robin AI

Robin AI is on a mission to rebuild the legal industry — starting with making contracts simple for everyone. We are a pioneer in Legal AI, built on proprietary models, licensed data, and deep partnerships with Anthropic and AWS. Since 2019, we’ve expanded our footprint to 3 continents and have been supporting many of the world’s most successful businesses, including GE, Pfizer, KPMG, and UBS.

About the role

At Robin AI, we bring together amazing people in engineering, AI and the law to create groundbreaking products that are transforming legal teams. Our current product blends traditional engineering, neural networks and LLMs to read and comprehend written contracts, assess whether they adhere to our customers’ preferred positions and automatically amends them. But our ambitions go way beyond reviewing contracts; we want to build technology that changes the way people and companies all over the world engage with legal services.

Our product and usage is growing quickly. You will play a critical role solving novel architecture and scale problems, as we release never seen before ML-powered solutions to users around the world.

Our Tech Stack

Our frontend is built using React and Apollo, and we use Python web frameworks, such as Django and Flask, to implement our back-end services, alongside various other services and libraries such as Celery and Elasticsearch. Everything runs on AWS services, including but not limited to ECS, Lambda, MQ, Sagemaker and Bedrock. We use CircleCI to build and deploy, and all of our infrastructure is managed using Terraform.

What You’ll do

  • Architect and implement cloud infrastructure, primarily in AWS.

  • Work closely with product, AI and ML teams to be part of delivering a cutting edge product.

  • Design and build automated CI/CD pipelines to deliver better software faster to our users.

  • Champion IaC practices using tools like Terraform.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong expertise with AWS and their associated services. Experience with Azure or GCP would also be helpful.

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

  • Experience with containerised solutions (e.g. Docker and ECS)

  • Deep understanding of CI/CD principles, ideally with CircleCI

  • Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python).

  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks.

  • Experience with SIEM/Logging tools (e.g. Datadog/Splunk)

Compensation at Robin AI

  • Salary: £85-110k

  • Generous Equity package: When you help build Robin AI, everyone deserves to be an owner.

  • Please Note: If your salary expectations look a little different to that outlined, we’d still be keen to hear from you if this is a role that excites you.

Benefits at Robin AI

At Robin AI, we put people first; we believe a great product is inextricably linked to a great internal community.

We’re a quickly growing, cross-functional team that values supporting each other's development. As part of the team, you can expect:

  • 25 days PTO plus bank holidays, cultural leave, and birthday leave

  • Unlimited, trust-based sick leave

  • Enhanced gender-neutral parental leave

  • Technology to enable you to work seamlessly from the office or home

  • Focus on continual learning and development

  • Free healthy breakfast on Tuesdays, cinnamon rolls on Thursdays, and a fridge of beverages ordered to request!

What’s it like working at Robin AI?

We’re building a place where Robins thrive. We built the company on a unique blend of inclusivity, high performance, and an unwavering ambition to transform law. Our culture and values attract deeply committed, compassionate, and straight-talking individuals who find energy in our mission.
