While others chase benchmarks and academic puzzles, we’ve been quietly rethinking the LLM stack from first principles — building a new kind of general frontier model designed for real-world reliability, decision-making, and autonomy in production.

We’re a small, fast-moving team from OpenAI, Google Brain, and Meta/FAIR, backed by top-tier investors. Since mid-2024, we’ve been engineering the foundation for what comes after the current “state-of-the-art” — a model that actually gets things done.

About the role

We're looking for a founding Operations lead who will be a strategic partner to TypeSafe’s founders. This is a high-horsepower generalist seat for someone who can take ambiguous, high-stakes problems and drive them to resolution. You'll work across various aspects of GTM and product, executing on TypeSafe’s go-to-market strategy and stepping in as a jack-of-all-trades business generalist on needs that emerge in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and qualifying leads for potential customers and strategic partnerships

• Supporting closing deals and driving sales cycles forward (e.g. participating in sales calls; pursuing customers; answering questions)

• Developing, executing, and maintaining sales automations and systems

• Maintaining relationships with existing TypeSafe customers

• Helping organize TypeSafe’s presence, and represent the company and product, at conferences and events targeted at business audiences

• Jumping in on any number of strategic priorities to support go-to-market

We are looking for people who

• Demonstrate high grit, perseverance, emotional intelligence, and skillfulness with people

• Solve problems from both first-principles reasoning and a reservoir of lived experience

• Understand and follow the AI industry and understand both the joys and the limitations of current-generation LLM models

• Care deeply about our mission and are driven to translate it into real-world impact

• Have 3+ years of professional expertise in high-performing teams, including under shifting and ambiguous environments

• Nice to have: B.A / B.S. or M.B.A in a technical, business, or analytically-rigorous field
